The so-called metaverse offers a "big time" investment case, according to Puerto Rican billionaire businessman Orlando Bravo.

In an interview, Annette Weisbach on Friday, Bravo stated, "It's investable and it's going to be extremely huge."
The metaverse is a science fiction concept in which individuals wear a headset or smart glasses that allows them to live, work, and play in a virtual environment similar to the one depicted in the novel and film "Ready Player One." It's either a utopian dream or a dystopian nightmare, depending on your perspective.
Last month, Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg brought the phrase "metaverse" into the forefront when he renamed the firm Meta and stated that it would focus on the metaverse.
"The metaverse is the next frontier," he remarked at the time, "much like social networking was when we first started."
Inspired by Iceland, a marketing campaign for Icelandic tourism, parodied the announcement in a video released last week. A Zuckerberg impersonator introduces viewers to "Icelandverse," a world of "improved actual reality without silly-looking headgear," in the video.
Several other companies, including Microsoft, Roblox, Nvidia, and Improbable in the United Kingdom, are already working on software and technology to power the metaverse.
Thoma Bravo manages more than $83 billion in assets and includes more than 40 software companies in its portfolio. McAfee and Barracuda, as well as corporate software provider Dynatrace, are among the companies in which it has invested.
Bravo is a crypto bull who owns an undisclosed amount of bitcoin in addition to the metaverse.
"How could you not like crypto?" says the narrator. In September, Bravo remarked Delivering Alpha conference. "Crypto is a fantastic system." It's completely frictionless. It's a decentralised system. Young people, on the other hand, want their own financial system. As a result, it's here to stay."
